CAI Casinos awarded to continue their operations

The current Swiss casino licences expire at the end of 2024. In order to ensure seamless continued operation, the Swiss Federal Council commissioned the Eidgenössische Spielbankenkommission (ESBK) in 2022 with the tender process for the award of new licences.

As a leading provider in the global gaming industry, Casinos Austria International also operates three casinos in Switzerland. In the past few months, we have therefore been intensively working on our applications for the new licences for the years 2025 to 2044.

We are therefore pleased to announce that all three casinos involving CAI in Lugano, Bern and St. Moritz have been awarded both their land-based and online licences and can therefore continue to operate until 2044 - Swiss Federal Council issued at its meeting yesterday.
